Ricardo Melo Gouveia finishes British Masters in ninth position

The Portuguese golfer, Ricardo Melo Gouveia, finished today the British Masters in the group of ranked ninths, having climbed 33 places, finishing the race with seven strokes of the winner, the British Eddie Pepperell.

On the fourth and final day, Melo Gouveia had his best performance, delivering a card with 68 strokes, four under the field, with four birdies (one below) and no bogey (one above) or worse.

In Walton on the Hill, in the English town of Surrey, the Portuguese rose from 42nd place to the top 10 in a tournament defeated by the British Eddie Pepperell, who led from the first day with the Swedish Alexander Bjork to finish in second place and the Australian Lucas Herbert in the third.

Melo Gouveia, who re-entered the 110 best riders in the race for a circuit member card next season, reached the second top 10 in the last three tournaments, which he joined seventh place at the Portugal Masters on September 23.
