Game district

It was in 2017 that Rock in Rio introduced gaming at the festival, being the first in the industry to take this step. A winning strategy, with this content gaining more prominence and leaving Rock City to live as its own event (both in Brazil, with Game XP, and in Portugal, with Worten Game City). By 2020, gaming returns to Rock in Rio Lisboa, this time a whole block dedicated to you, with even more content and experience from the world of video games.

It is to this block that the disputed Worten Game Ring arena returns. To Inês Drummond Borges, Worten Marketing Director, “In 2020, we will return to Rock in Rio Lisboa with our gaming brand, Worten Game Ring. The goal is to bet on an entertainment format that allows us to reach all audiences. ”
In addition, it will also be in the Game District that the public will find another of the big news of this edition: the virtual reality roller coaster, which makes the already amazing ride experience even more surreal.

Rock in Rio Kids

One of the most loyal audiences of the festival, families get a dedicated space in the next edition. For the first time, Parque da Bela Vista hosts a Rock in Rio inside Rock in Rio, designed for the youngest (between 3 and 8 years old), where they recreate some of the festival’s stages and concepts as miniatures. World Stage, main porch, slide, Rock Street and more, as spaces for parents to follow the animation, among others.

Rock Street Asia

Rock Street is one of the festival’s most iconic venues that has already won the preference of visitors to Rock City. A space where the experience is truly immersive and where the visitor is at the center of entertainment, among colorful facades inspired by the architecture of a particular venue, street entertainment and stage concerts.

In the next edition, this street is dressed in Asian culture and is home to temples, palaces, a panoply of elements typical of oriental imagery and sounds of a continent not so distant, where there will also be no lack of reference to Asia’s connection with Portugal.

Ferris wheel

One of Rock in Rio’s icons and one of the experiences that, after this edition, will never be the same. The spot with the most amazing view of the City of Rock, where you can see the best sunset of Lisbon, returns even more special, with several surprises.

Rooftops & Tables

And because “experience” is the watchword in Rock in Rio, in addition to the VIP area, and thinking about the various audiences that visit Rock City, there will be two types of premium spaces with personalized service, exclusive transportation to the event and location. privileged overlooking the entire precinct and World Stage.
