Portugal’s skipper is only the second male player to score 100 international goals
Portugal won in Sweden, 2-0, adding the victory in many other games in the League of Nations. Cristiano Ronaldo returned to eleven and solved the match with two goals, reaching 101 in the service of the National Team.
Fernando Santos’s men, holders of the title, now have six points in Group 3 of League A of the League of Nations, as many as France, who beat Croatia 4-2.
The next game will be on October 11, precisely in front of the world champions, on French soil.
