The musical project Rope Walkers was born in 2019 from the fusion of the hearts and brains of Rui Ferraz and Carolina Costa, who from the divergent and permanent dialogue between the emotional and the rational, created original compositions in Portuguese and in English, with new folk and indie sounds.
In mid-2019 the formation evolved into a live performance in a quintet with the input of João Sousa (drums), Luis Candeias (electric bass) and Bruno Soares (electric guitar) who brought new textures and colours to the themes of the existing repertoire.
The project has been in the studio recording process for the first album since December 2019, scheduled for release in May / June 2020.
This Thursday, February 20, they will perform in the auditorium of the World Academy for a concert recorded on video.
