Rodrigo Guedes de Carvalho presented at the Teatro Maria Matos, in Lisbon, the show “Ruge – Poemas e Canções”, accompanied by the piano by Rúben Alves and Daniela Onís gave his voice to the songs.
The author wrote the poems, where the journalist, exposes his soul. Life, domestic violence, divorce, disappointments, submission, biting humour, were the themes sung and recited.
“Ruge” is the word whispered, sung and enchanted, transmitted to an audience thirsty for dreams, for hope with the voice of Daniela Onís and the piano “voice” of Ruben Alves, which enchanted a full house, but keeping the DGS rules, a show that deserved, an old normal full house applause.
In their introduction to “Ruge“, Rodrigo Guedes de Carvalho and Daniela Onís tell us that the show was born out of a passion for words, which came together in sentences. Then they grew up and became an urgent thing to be said and heard. The microphone was placed close to the heart.

Then the music came and they held hands, with the beautiful musical arrangements by Ruben Alves.
In “Ruge” there are dramas and outbursts, and laughter barely hid ironies.
Without any fear of showing emotions, “Ruge” is a narrative of poems and songs about us all.
With Rodrigo Guedes de Carvalho, Daniela Onís and Ruben Alves, this was another magnificent show produced by “Força de Produção“.
