Samuel Úria takes charge of Cinema São Jorge next Saturday, the 20th, regarding a presentation at Sala Manoel de Oliveira integrated into the festival “Regresso Ao Futuro”. It will be the first performance in his own name in the post-confinement, after the 1st and 2nd of June he was in Campo Pequeno as a guest of the show “Leave the ‘pimba’ alone”.
In a minimalist format, with only his bandmate Silas Ferreira on keyboards and programming, Samuel will take to the Lisbon room not only his most representative songs but also some of those that are part of “Canções do Pós Guerra”, the new album meanwhile rescheduled for editing after the summer. From the new album, “Fica Aquém” is the song for already known.
Celebrating this return to the stage, Samuel Úria invited songwriter Joana Espadinha for special participation, with whom he has recently collaborated – last October he participated in the passage of the author of “O Material Tem Sempre Razão” at Teatro Villaret; or in the “Eléctrico” program, with a version of “Leva-me A Dançar”.
Tickets for the concert can be purchased HERE. Along with all the other concerts integrated into this festival, the ticket value reverts entirely to the Solidarity Fund for Culture. The solidarity of this event is further reinforced by the invitation to the public to take food that will be distributed by União Audiovisual by the arts professionals in difficulty.
