The Municipality of São Brás de Alportel has taken another step in administrative modernization with the implementation, this January, of a digital education management platform that will facilitate the process of managing and paying school meals for all parents. education of pre-school students and 1st cycle of basic education of the public schools of the county.
By the end of 2019, the process involved traveling to municipal services to pre-purchase paper meal passwords and prepay pre-school hours.
The digital platform now allows caregivers to access, through computer and other related to their students, monitor their attendance at meal service, consult the billing history and menus. In the future you may also make other services available to parents and students.
In practice, the platform will issue the billing related to student consumption of the previous month, which is sent electronically (sms and/or email), and will allow payment by ATM or homebanking, while still maintaining the possibility of payment be made at the Municipal Treasury.
During the month of December, the Municipality promoted a wide dissemination of the measure and held two briefing sessions for the parents.
This is a measure that continues the municipal strategy of family support and constitutes another step towards administrative modernization aiming at serving the citizens with more efficient and comfortable solutions.
