Serra do Montesinho

The Montesinho mountain range (archaic Montezinho spell) is a mountain range in mainland Portugal and Spain (where it is called Sierra de La Parada), with an altimeter maximum of 1486 meters in Portugal and 1735 meters in Spain. The Portuguese part is located in Alto Trás-os-Montes, in the municipalities of Bragança and Vinhais. There is the Montesinho Natural Park.

It is a mountain range in Portugal and Spain. The point called “Lombada Grande” is not the summit of a mountain, but a small secondary elevation on a mountain slope which in Spain (like Sierra de La Parada) constitutes only the southeast extension of the Gamoneda mountain range.
