Shanghai SIPG, by Vítor Pereira, wins the Super Cup

The Shanghai SIPG, coached by Portugal’s Vítor Pereira, won the Chinese Supercup today by beating Beijing Guoan 2-0 at a meeting in Suzhou.

With Brazilian Hulk, formerly FC Porto, in the ‘eleven’, the Shanghai team made it to the winner of the Chinese Cup, thanks to the goals of Wang Shenchao (62) and Lu Wenjun (66).

This is the second major trophy of the Shanghai SIPG, which had been a sacred champion for the first time last season.

For Vítor Pereira, this is the third Super Cup of his career, after two victories in Portugal, serving FC Porto, a club in which he was also a two-time Portuguese champion, as well as having won a championship and a Cup in Greece for Olympiacos.
