SIC has confirmed that its streaming service, called Opto, will be launched on November 24th. The service will have two versions: one free and one available upon payment of a subscription.
In the free version of Opto, the user will be able to see a catalog with more than 4 thousand hours of content, which includes series, novels, documentaries, sketches, among others. As for Opto Premium, subscribers will be able to watch all the contents of the basic version and also exclusive programs.
Opto Premium will be available upon payment of a monthly subscription of 3.99 euros or 39.99 euros for the annual. If you want to take advantage and purchase the annual subscription, a campaign is currently in force that puts the price of the annual subscription at 29.99 euros.
Exclusive content already confirmed includes ‘A Generala’, ‘O Clube’ and ‘Esperança’ with César Mourão. SIC says that content is already in production with Ricardo Araújo Pereira, Bruno Nogueira and Ljubomir Stanisic.
Portuguese abroad can also have access to Opto Premium, in which case the monthly subscription rises to 6.99 euros with access to SIC Notícias.
In addition to being available on the official website, Opto will also be available through Android, iOS devices, as well as Apple TV, Android TV boxes, Chromecast, PC, Mac, and Smart TVs.
