Registration for the program is free and open to young people living in Sintra, aged up to 29 years.
Sintra City Council announced the launch of the ‘Code For All_Sintra’ course for young people from the county who are not working, studying or attending vocational training.
“The formation of our young people, in all its aspects, is part of our strategy to face Sintra as an educational territory where nobody is forgotten,” said Basílio Horta, mayor of Sintra, in a statement.
Registration in the program is free and is open to young people living in Sintra, aged between 18 and 29 years.
The course is in the area of information technology, more specifically the programming segment, and lasts for 14 weeks.
The Code For All_Sintra is an educational pilot project that results from a partnership between the Sintra City Council, the Aga Khan Foundation and the Code Academy.
Registration is open until December 30 and the course begins on January 14.
