The Sommet Education group, a leading training group in the worldwide network of hotel and culinary schools that integrates Les Roches, Glion Institute of Higher Education and Ecole Ducasse, appoints a Digital Board composed of high-level specialists to accelerate and contribute to the experience digital study in Hospitality.
The Sommet Education Group has been successfully accelerating digitization in response to the pandemic situation.
The digital transformation has been led by a dedicated working group, including members directly connected to the digital area and academics in order to ensure that the solutions developed respond with maximum flexibility and academic rigor to the situation and the needs of new students.
With the reopening of the Campus at this moment and students continuing their training in person or online, Sommet Education wants to take the lead in the Future of Hotel Education and in the sustainable integration of digital learning solutions and new technologies in the curricula.
The purpose of the Digital Board is to support Sommet Education in increasing digital skills and propose new ideas, services, products and solutions by leveraging the digitization strategy to be implemented on campuses and courses and strategically integrating digitization into students’ learning experiences.
The Board is selected based on the members’ experience and worldwide recognition in their field and is comprised of Roberto Eggs, Moncler Chief Operations Officer & Chief Marketing Officer, Mathieu Lhomme, One Data Officer at Danone, Rajay Naik, CEO of Skilled Education , as well as Olivier Younes, Founding Executive Director of EXPEN (www.expen.com) & Professor at HEC Business School. The biard (council) aims to integrate new members and competencies throughout the development of their reflections.
Digital Board members will share knowledge and experience in developing business applications based on new technologies with an innovative and unconventional approach to the education sector, supporting talent development.
The analysis, observations, opinions, proposals or recommendations will be transformed in a real way into digital products and services to be experienced and implemented on the campuses and curricula of the group’s institutions.
