Frederico Varandas traveled to England to close the Patrício dossier.
The Record newspaper on Tuesday points out that Sporting have already reached an agreement with Wolverhampton for the departure of Rui Patrício in the last transfer market.
According to the same source, the English emblem will pay a sum to the Alvalade club, after the Portuguese goalkeeper has left for just cause.
Although the figures Wolverhampton have paid to Sporting have yet to be revealed, the national press reported this morning that Frederico Varandas was in England to close this dossier for a value of around 18 million euros.
It is recalled that Rui Patrício was one of the nine players who rescinded the contract with Sporting, after the attacks to the Academy, last May.
