Sou Quarteira Movement rocked Passeio das Dunas

The Sou Quarteira project started off a conversation between 4 friends (Dino d’Santiago, Miguel Jacinto, Naomi Guerreiro and Inês Oliveira).

By claiming that Quarteira is not just sun and beach, this project aims to boost the city, create infrastructure and new opportunities for future generations, promoting the city culturally, socially, geographically and economically.

The Sou Quarteira Movement took place on August 16 and 17, 2019 in the “Passeio das Dunas”.

This year the Sou Quarteira movement has 3 strands:
– The Festival, in which they participated:

     On the 16th of August: 
M.D.A & Maskarilla, Allen Halloween, Mishlawi, Mayra Andrade, Plutónio, Branko, Mina & Bryte, Dj Big, Dj Kwan

     On the 17th of August:
Perigo Público & Sickonce, Sacik Brow & Fragas (with Malabá as their special guest), Eva Rap Diva, Kojey Radical, Jimmy P, Mundo Segundo & Sam The Kid, PEDRO, Dj Adamm, Progressivu

– The Documentary “Sou365 Dias”.

The documentary aims to reveal a different perspective and never seen on the city. A movie that deepens the relationship of places with the city. Stories that show us the impact the city has and how it shapes identities. Stories that reflect the heart of the city.

– The Photography Exhibition

“Heroes of Quarteira” which aims to “honor personalities who have contributed in some way to the cultural and social development of Quarteira”
