Sporting defeats Benfica and postpones decision of the title

The fourth match was played at Pavilhão João Rocha.

Sporting received and beat rival Benfica (5-3) on Thursday in the fourth playoff match of the national futsal champion. The Lions drew level 2-2 and postponed the title decision to the ‘black’, the fifth game to be played at the Pavilhão da Luz on Sunday and who will decide who is the national champion in 2018/19.

Benfica even came close to becoming the national champion in the João Rocha Pavilion, but within 30 seconds of what would have been the final whistle of the match in regular time, Rocha made the tie and took the game to extra time.

In the overtime, the lions were stronger and still in the first part scored two goals in just two minutes.

The final game of this playoff takes place on Sunday at 2:20 p.m., in the Pavilhão da Luz.
