Sporting is champion of Europe in hockey, win’s Porto


Sporting is the champions, winning the Portuguese final at the João Rocha Pavilion, against FC Porto, 5-2, forty-two years after the last achievement.

Always in front of the scoreboard, Toni Pérez who scored first, Reinaldo García equalized, and Vítor Hugo, Ferran Font and Gonzalo Romero returned to the mark for Sorting to win 4-1 at the end of the first half.

In the return, Gonçalo Alves reduced to Porto, but with a new goal of Ferran Font, Sporting closed the count.
