Born in the city of Nova Marabá, in Pará, the second largest state in Brazil. It was there that Tainá began to grow, proud of its indigenous descent, transmitted by both parents. She lived “in many places in Brazil”, a circumstance that she considers decisive for multiple acculturation and even for contacting the most varied “accents”. But you almost feel like announcing that her “home” has always been music.
It is surprising to realize that everything that Tainá sings in her first album (with two co-authors in between) is composed, written, designed and, above all, felt by one person. More: by someone who is arriving at the public exhibition, which makes its debut on disc, achieving at first what so many pursue a lifetime.
With a sweetness that disturbs, with a “peripheral vision” of his world (ies), Tainá does not shy away from her realities, nor does she feign loneliness, contradictions, yearnings, impulses, desires, which they are common to everyone, but not everyone knows how to express it this way. It is clear, from what is available, that this artist who is now close to us will grow, and a lot.
