It’s been 25 years since the debut of Lisbon Story – the documentary turned into a film – by German director Wim Wenders. The cinematographic narrative intertwines with the music of the Madredeus, in the unmistakable voice of Teresa Salgueiro, the main actress, unveiling a Lisbon full of memories, secrets, and places to discover. In this show, the singer proposes a trip and a reflection on her own human condition, with the city of Lisbon as a starting point, accompanied by José Peixoto (guitar), Óscar Torres (bass), Rui Lobato (drums, percussion, and guitar) ) and Fábio Palma (accordion). Teresa Salgueiro presents songs from the film as well as themes from her two original albums that represent her journey. The concert takes place at the Convento do Carmo and has OCUBO’s special participation through the insertion of video mapping and projections of the film.
