In ‘Calouste: a life, not an exhibition’, we find a journey through the history of who Calouste was and what he left for subsequent generations. To see in Lisbon, in the ‘house’ that received its name, until the end of the year. The entrance, this, is free.

Watercolours of Discovery

One of the most important works inspired by the expedition that resulted in the discovery of Brazil arrived for the first time in Portugal on March 9, exactly 519 years after the armada commanded by Pedro Álvares Cabral from Lisbon. The 52 works that make up the exhibition ‘Aquarelas do Descobrimento’, by Carybé, a plastic artist who, throughout his brilliant career, portrayed Brazil in a very own way. The exhibition is open until May 4 at the Independence Palace (Largo São Domingos, 11 – Lisbon). For more information click here.
