In a pandemic context, the Municipality promotes a solidarity initiative with local commerce, which culminates this Saturday and will continue on social networks with the São Brás Fashion Show
Given the impossibility of holding the usual events to promote the local economy, such as Noite Prata, given the context of the health crisis and the consequent economic crisis, the Municipality of São Brás de Alportel is carrying out the cycle of Saturdays “Summer Silver ”; an initiative that aims to support local commerce, without points of animation and without crowds of people. Commercial establishments have kept their doors open on Saturdays since June 20, as promotions with access to the drawing of shopping and meal vouchers.
The holding of a special edition of the Fashion Show “São Brás Fashion”, which was scheduled for the 25th, at 21.30, on the Main stage of Feira da Serra was to visit the participating stores in Summer Silver and will be shown on that day and that hour, on the municipality’s social networks and digital channels, namely on Facebook, Youtube and MEO KANAL 205 250.
These “Silver Summer” initiatives are part of the São Brás de Alportel Economic and Social Recovery Plan – PRESSA.
Focused on overcoming the difficulties posed to the local economy by the pandemic caused by the coronavirus COVID19, the Municipality of São Brás de Alportel has recently approved a new set of measures to support entrepreneurship and the establishment of companies in the municipality. Exemption from fees for occupying public space and advertising, as well as fixed tariffs for water supply, sanitation and waste for new companies, the strengthening of Via Verde for the development of municipal services, the creation of a stock of entrepreneurial ideas and the creation of a Youth Coworking space, are measures now approved, which reinforce the ongoing actions in this field and integrated into the Action Plan – Municipal Emergency Fund COVID São Brás de Alportel.
Minimizing the impact of the economic and social crisis, which resulted from the health crisis, is a constant concern of the Municipality that has placed support for the local economy as one of the axes of the action plan of the Municipal Emergency Fund COVID São Brás de Alportel.
