Today JP Simões at Música da Casa
Singer, composer, lyricist, short story writer and playwright, JP Simões has been editing albums since 1995, with Pop Dell’Arte, Belle Chase Hotel, Quinteto Tati and solo or in collaboration with other composers.
His last album in his own name, Roma, was released in 2013 and deserved a long national and international tour. And, in late 2016, he released “Tremble Like a Flower”, in the name of his alter-ego “Bloom”:
“JP Simões reinvents itself, changing everything: name, language, references. The final product is of a disturbing beauty that makes us shiver. ” (Altamont Magazine)
After participating in the 2018 Song Festival with “Alvoroço”, which won the prize for best popular music theme at the Portuguese Authors Society 2019 Authors Gala, JP Simões returned to the road to present, from north to south, a show with repertoire that goes through different phases and facets of his career.
The concerts are exclusive to members, and viewed through a closed group on Facebook. After the Pandemic, the goal is for the concerts to go to the halls, live.

Música da Casa is an independent movement created by music fans who came together to promote paid concerts.
At this time of such uncertainty, a group of music lovers decided to organize themselves with a single objective: to raise money to be able to enjoy concerts.
Not that they were tired of seeing concerts for free on social networks, but because they think that this situation is not sustainable for musicians, nor does it value art. And if musicians cannot / manage to survive in their profession, it is music fans who lose the most.
