North Americans were almost always in the field of play. It is the fourth world title for the USA team.
There are no three without four to the United States of America in the Women’s World Cup. This Sunday, in the final against the Netherlands, the USA team won 2-0 and won the fourth World Cup in its history.
In a game of almost always unique sense – the Dutch team managed to frame only one of five shots – the North Americans pulled the gallons and in the 61 minutes, they advanced in the marker. Rapinoe, the captain of the team, made the 1-0 of a penalty.
Eight minutes later, Rose Lavelle increased the US advantage and left the Netherlands very fragile.
There followed several opportunities for the American team, but despite the two goals conceded the Dutch goalkeeper was brilliant. Van Veenendaal essentially avoided that this final had a much more unbalanced result.
With the triumph, the United States reinforces the country’s status with more world titles in women’s football. There are already four titles won in the years 2019, 2015, 1999 and 1991. Germany has two World Championships Japan one, and Norway one.
