The municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia inaugurates the first live summer event, it’s a mini-festival scheduled for Friday and Saturday nights.
Vila Nova de Gaia will host outdoor music in the summer, “Summer Nights in Gaia” is the first event of its kind to be announced in the Covid-19 era and will take place on July 10 in Lavandeira.
During the months of July and August, the Stadium in Lavandeira will be the stage to host eight concerts by Portuguese artists, respecting all the rules recommended by the Directorate-General for Health. The seats will be previously identified by chairs and respective markings, observing a minimum distance of 1.5 meters between spectators.
On the poster, we find the names of several generations of Portuguese music such as Mariza, Xutos e Pontapés, Pedro Abrunhosa, Miguel Araújo, Carolina Deslandes, Ana Moura, José Cid and Herman José.
All shows have the same price, 10 euros, and are at the same time, at 20.30. “Summer Nights in Gaia“, explained the municipality in a statement, was thought by the municipality to restore normality and contact with culture to citizens, while guaranteeing a safe and comfortable environment.
