Vilar de Mouros Festival postponed to 2021
The Government announced today that the holding of music festivals and shows of a similar nature is prohibited in Portugal until September 30, due to the covid-19 pandemic.
For the festival organization, this Government decision was the only possible solution in view of the hygiene and safety rules imposed by the health authorities to stop the contagion by covid-19.
The losses are not yet calculated, but according to the person responsible, they will be in the order of thousands.
The 2020 edition of Vilar de Mouros was scheduled for the last weekend of August, that is, on the 27th, 28th and 29th. In 2019, the festival had more than 46 thousand spectators.
