Web Summit announces new group of speakers

The event will take place online and offline.

After the organization of the Web Summit announced the first 50 speakers at the technological summit to be held in Lisbon in December, today it was announced that Margrethe Vestager, will again be present at the event.

Also the founder and executive chairman of Revolut, Nikoly Storonsky, is another speaker.

Anjali Sud, and Makaziwe Mandela, daughter of Nelson Mandela, former president of South Africa and Nobel Peace Prize winner in 1993, are other participants in what is considered one of the biggest conferences technological.

Makaziwe Mandela participates as president of the House of Mandela, an organization that preserves the history and legacy of the former South African historical leader.

Ellen Weintraub, US election commissioner, Siyabulela Mandela, human rights activist and grandson of Nelson Mandela, the president of Chinese technology xiaomi, Xiang Wang, Eric Yuan, founder and executive president of Zoom, and Daniela Braga, founder of the startup ‘Portuguese artificial intelligence DefinedCrowd, are some of the names that will have a stage at this year’s Web Summit.

At this moment, whatever the decision taken on the format of the Web Summit in Lisbon, it will strictly follow the health protocols at that time.

Tickets for the Web Summit in Lisbon are on sale in early October, as long as health protocols allow events at that time.
