Wines, delicacies and special events: EnóphiloWine Fest Porto
The Porto Customs Congress Center receives the third edition ENOPHILO WINE FEST. This wine event has been growing and will be presented on the 17th, this Saturday, with a new configuration: two new spaces to receive a thousand oenophiles, a careful selection of wines, three Special Events simply not to be missed and, for the first time, the presence of gastronomic delicacies, with the inspiration of four chefs.

It was in the 2017 edition, in Porto, that the wine event ‘Wine Fest’ won the brand ‘Enóphilo’ and a new image. The third edition of ENÓPHILO WINE FEST PORTO 2018 takes place this Saturday and promises to gather around a thousand oenophiles who can taste more than 300 references of Portuguese wines carefully selected by Luis Gradíssimo, the organizer.
Next Saturday, November 17, between 3 pm and 8 pm, the third edition will be held ENOPHILO WINE FEST, in the Hall of Dispatchers, just outside the Customs Center of Porto, and will be more than 300 wines from around 50 producers from different regions of Portugal, this space will be complemented by the auditorium where the fantastic Special Events are held: ‘A decade of Blanc de Noirs from Kompassus’ (3:30 pm); ‘Quinta do Regueiro: The evolution of the Primitivo’ (17h00); and ‘Czar, more than 500 years of history’ (18h30).
This year there are also tasty treats. For the first time, ENOPHILO WINE FEST PORTO has gastronomic spaces, four finger food stations where participants can taste the delicacies of four chefs: hams and cheeses from Portugal with the signature of Chef Vítor de Oliveira; horse mackerel from our coast, by Chef Margarida Rego; the Marinhoa PDO meat by the inspiration of Chef Filipe Lema; and the delicious Conventual sweets of Coimbra, with Chef Paulo Queirós. “We want to provide all winemakers an intense afternoon of wine and gastronomic events that will translate into an exciting experience that will contribute to a better habit of consuming wines of higher quality and demand, whether at home or in the restaurant,” highlights Luis Gradíssimo.
Tickets are available at the ticket line and in usual places like Fnac, Worten and El Corte Inglés. The ticket has a cost of € 10 in pre-sale (until Friday) and € 15 on the same day, the organization lends a Schott Zwiesel glass for the proof of all wines; for each of the three special events there is a € 25 ticket which does not include access to the event (seats are limited); and there is also the ‘Enóphilo Pack’, for true enófilos, all-inclusive.
This Saturday, the 17th, you will find at ENÓPHILO WINE FEST PORTO “a blend of producers already acclaimed, quality wines, differentiated and not mass”, stresses Luis Gradíssimo. The Customs of Porto is, therefore, a mandatory destination from 3 pm, to taste, live, learn and toast!
