Xpand IT, a Portuguese technology company specialized in Big Data, Business Intelligence, Middleware and Mobile, seeks professionals for various regions of the country. The company recorded a 15% percentage increase in the number of new employees, when compared to the same period in 2019.
Currently, Xpand IT has about 30 open positions. Most of them concern the technological areas of software development, system administrators, but there are also vacancies available for Project Managers with strong technical and technological knowledge.
The company quickly adapted to remote work, and the onboarding process for new employees was also adapted, taking place only at a distance.
Xpand IT immediately implemented a series of measures to help employees adapt better to these new times: physical and mental health plan; home gym sessions, in which remote physical exercise sessions are promoted, in partnership with Personal Trainer; the possibility of participating in a set of psychotherapy sessions with specialized monitoring.
More recently, the Portuguese technology company offered all 320 employees a “Home Office” voucher worth €250.00 to reimburse the purchase of equipment for the offices in their homes.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, Xpand IT has seen a significant increase in the number of applications received. Of the hundreds of applications it has received since the beginning of March, the company hired 60 new employees, spread over almost all areas of the company, such as technological areas, Marketing, or Human Resources.
