Xpand IT recognized by Microsoft in the category of Modernization of Web Applications

The technological Xpand IT became the first Portuguese company to win recognition from Microsoft in the category of Modernization of Web Applications, in the Advanced Specialization of Microsoft Azure.

Microsoft awarded the Portuguese company after Xpand IT ensured compliance with the strict criteria, which include team qualification and success with the customer.

The specialization recognizes the ability of Microsoft partners, and in this case, Xpand IT‘s success in implementing projects in Azure.

The distinction thus validates the in-depth knowledge, as well as the extensive experience and proven expertise of Xpand IT in the use of this technology. Increasingly, companies have modernized the applications they use, so the benefits of cloud computing are becoming more prominent.

In this way, companies are looking for a partner that has the necessary capabilities to migrate, optimize and manage their workloads to the cloud, attributes that Microsoft now rewards in Portuguese technology.

Sérgio Viana, Partner & Digital Xperience Lead at Xpand IT, says: “We are very proud to receive this distinction, which is extremely relevant in the Microsoft ecosystem. It is an achievement of enormous teamwork and another sign, outside, of our ability to deliver projects in key areas for Microsoft such as Apps & Infra and Data & AI – in any of the markets where we operate”.

Abel Aguiar, Executive Director & Board Member at Microsoft, adds: “Congratulations to Xpand IT for obtaining the Advanced Specialization in Modernization of Web Applications. It is the recognition of the technical competence of the Xpand IT team in a critical area for the digital transformation of companies. There is a significant increase in the value generated when we move from migration to modernization and this achievement of Xpand IT must be considered a differentiator. Thanks to Xpand IT for continuing to invest in Microsoft technology and in training its resources”.
