The 16th edition of the Congress of the Association of Hotel Directors of Portugal takes place in Évora, on October 15th and 16th, and promises to bring to the debate a set of topics that deserve the attention of professionals in the Tourism sector.
This will be one of the few face-to-face congresses in the sector to take place in this challenging year of 2020, and for that reason, it intends to assert itself as a privileged space for sharing ideas, still bringing a much-needed message of hope.
The first day program starts at 2:30 pm on the 15th with a welcome reception from the President of ADHP, Raúl Ribeiro Ferreira, followed by the words of the entities representing the city of Évora and Alentejo.
On that same day, dinner will take place at Évora Hotel, followed by an intervention by the President of the Confederation of Tourism of Portugal, Francisco Calheiros. Subsequently, the Award of Excellence in Hospitality, Xénios 2020, takes place, which distinguishes the best directors of hotels and companies in the tourism sector in Portugal.
The closing of the Congress will be at 17:00 on October 16, with a message from Raúl Ribeiro Ferreira, President of the Board of ADHP and Rita Marques, Secretary of State for Tourism.
“With the organization of this XVI Congress, ADHP intends to assert itself even more as an entity that values the activity of the sector and believes that with the sharing of ideas between specialists it will be possible to define a set of goals that will allow us to survive and emerge stronger of the moment as delicate as what we are going through,” says Raúl Ribeiro Ferreira, president of the Association of Hotel Directors of Portugal (ADHP).
